Printer Review Oki B2200

Last Updated on June 15, 2020 by Christian Ralph

The B2200 is a compact and sturdy desktop mono printer which is perfect for personal business printing. Small and light this handy device can easily be accommodated on even the smallest of desks. And thanks to the unique OKI digital LED technology the print quality is exceptional, with fast 20 pages per minute (ppm) output and with a first page out time of just 5 seconds.
Highlights of other reviews:
trustedreviews.com says: It’s good to see a company stick with a technology and OKI has pioneered its high-intensity LED printing for the best part of 20 years……The B2200 looks like a really compact personal, mono printer, about the size of a large bread loaf, until you slot in the paper tray at the back. This virtually doubles the printer’s depth, though, since the tray is well off the desk, you could still have something sitting behind the printer, so as not to waste space……The internal print mechanism is pretty straightforward and the toner cartridge piggybacks on a small drum unit to produce a neat print engine….the printer is very low maintenance.
pcadvisor says: Its 4.8kg weight suggests it still has plenty of heft behind it, and you could give it a good knock or two without putting it off its stride. But the Oki B2200 is undoubtedly smaller and far from obtrusive. The Oki B2200 is fairly quiet too, with none of the gurning and churning sounds that make up the typical laser printer’s soundtrack. But the Oki B2200 is not only small, but very well priced with it – even today, sub-£100 laser printers are few and far between.
