How Does HP Instant Ink Work?

Once you’ve signed up for the service, your printer will notify us when you’re running low on ink, and we’ll automatically dispatch your new ink cartridges.

Your monthly fee includes ink usage, delivery, and recycling. And if your printing needs change, you can easily change your plan anytime or cancel the service without penalties.

We will send you HP Instant Ink subscription cartridges when you first sign up, and we’ll dispatch replacement cartridges as soon as your printer automatically tells HP you need more ink.

With the HP Instant Ink subscription, you will never worry about your ink running out. HP Original ink is ordered by your printer and delivered straight to your door, so get started by choosing a plan that suits your needs.

What do I need to sign up for HP Instant Ink?

To sign up to HP Instant Ink, you need:

  • A HP printer that is compatible with this service
  • An Internet connection for your printer
  • A valid email address
  • A valid payment method (for billing purposes): credit card, direct debit, PayPal, or HP Instant Ink Prepaid card
