    What is AirPrint?

    Apple AirPrint allows full colour, top-quality printing from iOS devices such as iPhones and iPads directly from within many Apps available from the Apple App Store.

    To take advantage of AirPrint, your compatible printer must be connected to the same wireless network as your iOS device or Mac computer.

    AirPrint enables users to print wirelessly from within applications on Apple devices to AirPrint Compatible Printers connected to a wireless network. You can use your iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad to easily print via Airprint without the need to install drivers or configure the printer queue. Just tap 'print' and select your AirPrint compatible printer, and print!....It's that simple.

    What You See is What You Print

    If you can open it on your apple device, chances are you can print it with AirPrint and an AirPrint compatible printer. Airprint works with Safari, Mail, Photos, iWork, PDF's in iBooks and many third-party AirPrint compatible apps available from the app store.

    There are also a wide variety of third-party apps available to enable wireless printing through Apple devices, even to machines that are not natively AirPrint compatible printers. Q. Can this be used with mobile phone with Bluetooth if that's my only source of Internet?
A.

Unfortunately the Epson WorkForce WF-2840DWF does not feature Bluetooth connectivity, however it does feature a Wi-Fi Direct interface where mobile devices can connect directly to the printers own network, in order to print documents without the need for a PC or wired/wireless connectivity.
Q. Please advise what ReadyPrintFlex is and how does it work

Epson ReadyPrint Flex is a flexible monthly payment plan from Epson that's tailored to suit your specific printing requirements. Plans start from as little as 30 pages/month to as many as 500 and includes automatic delivery of genuine supplies straight to your door to ensure you never run out of ink. Any unused pages are rolled over for up to 2 months and you can also change your plan as and when it suits. All eligible printers and plans are available on our Epson ReadyPrint page, but if you would like to discuss this any further, our Sales Team would be happy to help on 0800 840 1992.
Q. Will this printer handle transparency medium ?
A.

Unfortunately the Epson WorkForce WF-2840DWF does not support printing onto transparency media types. It supports plain paper, copy paper, letterhead, envelopes and a variety of Epson photo papers.
Q. Will this printer work with a Macbook Pro? 13'' early 2011 - MacOS High Sierra version 10.13.6 Will the set up be relatively easy?
A. Yes, the Epson WorkForce WF-2840DWF is compatible with Mac OS 10.13. Drivers are available to download via the Epson support site for Mac operating systems ranging from OS 10.6 to 12. There is an Epson Product Setup download which will contain everything you need to set up the Epson WorkForce WF-2840DWF correctly and it also includes an on-screen guide to help you through the process.
Q. Does this printer support scan to email please?
A. The Epson WorkForce WF-2840DWF can not scan directly to email but it does feature the ability to scan to PC or scan to cloud where you can then attach the scan to an email via a manual process.
Q. Does my laptop need a disc drive to load the software or is it available online?
A. All software and drivers for the Epson WorkForce WF-2840DWF can be downloaded for free via the Epson Support Site.

A. The Epson WorkForce WF-2840DWF is shipped with 150 pages of black and 130 pages of CMY inks. Good printer
A good printer but very difficult to set up. You have read instructions on a 2 screen very confusing. Eventually did it 2 hours. Wouldn t print from gmail or Excell went into fax mode. In the end I have uninstalled the fax mode. Now it works ok.
