Excellent machine
Perhaps some might consider it an extravagant purchase for mainly home and research use I purchased this to replace my 9 year old FS-1370DN now passed to a family member and an Epson A3 MFP. The two of them take up too much space and the Epson is just so expensive to keep in ink just to keep the heads from drying out. The M8124cidn is an excellent machine and does an excellent job with all that I have thrown at it so far. I am all linux here scan and print both work well the Kyocera Print Panel installs under debian and others and is a great utility for controlling all aspects of printing and the printer. It is a heavy machine mine sits on a dolly so can be moved if needed. It comes in a large crate on a pallet both are 750mm square so some may struggle getting through a standard doorframe til reduced to its 590mm square actual size. Great service from Printerland too.

Good standard
As an Architectural firm, we need quality prints which is a different setting to standard and uses more ink. As a general printer/scanner/copier, it does a great job and it is reasonably priced. The inks are also very reasonably priced compared to other brands. Overall, we are happy with this product

Kyocera ECOSYS M8124cidn - Good Printer
Very good A3 printer/scanner. Seems very efficient & logical to operate. Very good value for money. I would recommend purchasing the 'Kyocera CB-472 Metal Cabinet with Wheels' as well as it is a little short if placed on the floor & too high if placed on an average office table. A small strong coffee table would also do! The printer is pretty heavy, mind.

Amazing Printer
I LOVE THIS PRINTER! It has every function you could wish for (except stapling). The toners are cheaper than most and they last ages. The print quality is perfect. The only down side I could see is if I had thousands of pages to print it would take a while as its a little slow, but this doesn't matter to us as we don't do big runs.
