Epson is a global leader in document scanning, helping to create efficient working environments for businesses of all sizes. With the WorkForce DS-970, Epson has created their fastest scanner yet, teaming high performance with an easy-to-use interface.
The DS-970 has been designed to meet the needs of busy departments through the use of Epson's Complex Production Architecture. As a result, this scanner boasts speeds of up to 85 pages per minute and 9,000 pages per duty cycle.
To handle these speeds without the risk of paper jams and tearing, onboard sensors are constantly assessing unusual paper behaviour and acting to prevent issues from arising. Double Feed Detection Skip (DFDS) also helps to avoid pauses, identifying factors like labels and post-it notes on documents which could cause jams.
Epson's DS-970 features an impressive 100-page Automatic Document Feeder (ADF) as well as the ability to scan a range of document sizes. This includes a long paper scanning mode which is capable of scanning documents of up to 6096mm. Furthermore, three different flatbed solutions are on offer in sizes up to A3. Slow Mode also makes it possible to scan documents that are either fragile or damaged.
The range of scanning options on offer is only the beginning of the WorkForce DS-970's convenience, with Epson prioritising intuitiveness during the design process. Tasks are simplified with the use of the 3.7cm LCD display which provides a variety of functions. This display allows you to scroll through pre-defined jobs easily and makes it simple to get your documents to the right place with just the press of a button.
