Cheap inks great printer
Being on a tight budget having to make every penny count this printer made sense. The upfront price made us think twice but once the ownership costs were explained the decision was easy. The cost of buying inks is so much cheaper than anything else you can buy and so we were able to spend a little more on the printer to get everything we needed with those cheap ownership costs. The printer is brilliant and we are very pleased with our purchase

Similar to the other reviews about this printer the main appeal of this printer was the incredibly cheap printing costs. The price of the printer may seem high but the printer does everything you could possibly need and as mentioned those printing costs are so low it will pay for itself. The printer is well made and gives me confidence that it will last and to back that up Epson provided a 5 year warranty.

A substantial bit of kit. Saved a bit of money on the upfront cost thanks to Printerland but the real savings will be long terms. I am moving from a laser printer where the cost of ink is extortionate. I couldn t quite believe the cost of the inks for this printer in comparison which are around 80 cheaper than my old printer. With savings like this the printer will pay for itself. Good specification too

Lots of printing
We do a lot of printing a mix of A3 and A4 and I was fed up of spending a fortune on ink. The solution was a new printer with ink tank technology. It might look like an expensive printer but for the heavy user like us the savings come about very quickly indeed. Instead of spending hundreds of pounds per ink a full set costs less than a hundred and lasts for thousands of pages. The printer will pay for itself in no time.

Ordered the 5150 I received the ET-5170 as an upgrade. It was exceptionally easy to set up as long as you follow the instructions as there are plenty of videos and paper instructions from Epson. Filling and priming took a while made easier by the fact that the ink stops coming out when the tank is full. Also the bottles are keyed to prevent misfilling. Slightly noisier than the ET-2550 being replaced but a smaller footprint. Printerland were fantastic during the process 5 mins after the order they called to a. Tell me about the upgrade b. To remind me of all the offers which I need to claim for and c. To confirm the next day free delivery. All in all a great printer from a great company use with confidence

Epson A3 MFP printer
As the title states this is an A3 MFP printer from Epson. It is part of their EcoTank range which means the printer has ink tanks that you fill from bottles and the upside is the inks come in large capacities at very cheap prices. This keeps the cost of printing down. It also has two large capacity paper trays so you can load one with A4 and the other with A3 and depending on the job you sent to print the printer will automatically choose which tray to print from. A great bit of kit from Epson

High resolution
Extremely crisp print outs on a wide range of paper sizes. A4 as you would expect is produced without any issue but as can often happen with printers when enlarging to A3 you lose quality which is not the case with this printer

Future proof
We needed to replace one of our printers and in doing so we took the opportunity to buy one that could handle the job types needed now but also jobs that this printer could take over from our current lease printer. This printer does everything that we will require from a printer and despite its price will be very good value for us when we factor in the printing costs compared to our current lease deal.
