New Age Ink Jets
I have a history of printers down during court cases when print volumes increase disportionately. I joked about it with my uncle confident that my new 18 month old printer would do the job as it had only had 8 reams through it. Wrong It packed up and I nearly lost my case. PrinterLand and the Epson ET-M3170 to the rescue. Printerland delivered promptly as they promised and after 10 minutes it worked fine with Linux and was printing a sizeable court submission. Its done the same repeatedly taking a lot of the stress out of last minute submissions and I'm really impressed with its low cost per page output quality and very positive paper handling which is where the other printer fell down. Epson back this product up with a free 3 year warranty. I think it's the best bang for the buck printer on the market and its been a huge asset to me and well worth the investment. Dean

A good all-round easy to set up and use family printer.I like the easy way of setting up on a mobile by holding your phone over the N .it almost sets it up without any fuss.the print quality is good and conserving my old printer was about 8 years old this is fantastic.i would definitely recommend it .

Good printer
A good printer but very difficult to set up. You have read instructions on a 2 screen very confusing. Eventually did it 2 hours. Wouldn t print from gmail or Excell went into fax mode. In the end I have uninstalled the fax mode. Now it works ok.

It works!
I needed a quick replacement for the old printer that suddenly packed in. Printerland was able to organise the next day delivery as advertised despite the warehouse having been busy with the Black Friday backlog. Thank you The installation is a little more complicated than the other printers I had but I managed. One should ignore the paper guide and run the installation CD ROM straight away instead as the instructions on the Exe file explain the process a lot better. The quality of print for the small home office is adequate. If one needed super crisp photos maybe one should go for a different more expensive item. I like the ink economy. The amount of ink one gets in a single refill justifies the upfront price for me. The build quality could be better or more solid. It feels rickety and like the parts could easily come off. However it comes with a three years warranty.

Having tried a different brand of all-in-one and wasted HOURS trying to set up I returned it and found this model. Highly reviewed I can see why - QR CODE to instant instructions - very simple to install ink - connected to my Wi-Fi within seconds - immediately produced high quality images on glossy photo paper - Epson Print app offers really simple to toggle options for choosing print quality paper size type and adjusting borders or collating multiple images on one sheet even from iPhone or iPad and windows laptop. Great time saver. Very very quiet if on silent mode. Even diagnoses blurry images itself and asks if you want to troubleshoot. 5 star performance.
