Fast service, fast scanning.
This scanner certainly meets the needs of the small office and comes equipped with software to lighten the load on the drive towards the paper-reduced workspace. The unit is compact, taking up no more than a couple of lever-arch files worth of surface on my desk. Printerland efficiently fulfilled the order within 24 hours, so there was no real break in service as far as my customers were concerned. The wi-fi link worked first time, as did the Android app on my Samsung Note 4 - so scanning without being connected to the PC/laptop will be a cinch.

David Canon DR-C225W
Installation
I have just purchased and installed a Canon ADF ImageFORMULA DR-C225W using the setup disk and it worked great once I's removed the last pink plastic protector buried in the internal. Then I started finding problems with the scanner and the evidence is that it is having a conflict with my Canon PIXAMA MG7550's scanner. If I start my PC with both not working and switch on the DR-C225W I can use the scanner. If I then switch on the PIXAMA I get an error: "Scanner is not ready (Power may have been cycled). Try Operation again (-4400)". The CaptureOnTouch stops responding. I have to reboot the PC to can get the DR-C225W working again, so long as the PIXAMA is not switched on. I've asked Canon for advice, but if they can't help I'll have to replace the Canon scanner with a competitor's one.
