Laser print quality for the cost of an inkjet

The AL-1200 is designed for offices that are looking for a reliable laser printer/copier that won’t take up too much space and costs the same to run as most inkjet printers. With high quality 600x600 dpi resolution and 256 levels of grayscale combined with 12 ppm print and copy speeds, the AL-1200 provides everything the small office requires. While its single two-piece, high capacity toner cartridge ensures that print costs are kept to an absolute minimum by separating the toner from the fuser and transfer units.

We recommend genuine Sharp consumables to guarantee quality

The AL-1200 has been designed to work with genuine Sharp printer consumables; while private label cartridges may provide a cheaper alternative to OEM Sharp cartridges, the toner used is not formulated to melt at the correct temperature. This not only results in impaired print quality, it increases wear on the transfer unit and roller, significantly reducing the lifespan of these components and causing them to be replaced much sooner than is necessary. So far from reducing print costs, using private label cartridges actually increases them.

As a Sharp consumables customer, you are also able to take advantage of Sharp’s Stop, Drop and Recycle program which allows you to return spent cartridges for recycling. This FREE program uses Sharp’s state of the art recycling centres in the UK to recycle 100% of the cartridge material with zero waste being sent to landfill. This not only reduces the environmental impact of your printing, it helps promote an environmentally sustainable economy which is better for everyone.
