Lexmark's sophisticated Best Together print system pairs each printer with a dedicated set of cartridges, guaranteeing the user reliability, high-quality print output and sustainability when you recycle used ink cartridges through the Lexmark Cartridge Collection programme. This is part of Lexmark's commitment to being a zero landfill manufacturer.
Lexmark inks are developed and manufactured in-house and undergo a rigorous testing process to ensure they are safe to use, reliable and deliver rich and saturated colour, crisp monochrome and smooth grey tones. Lexmark subject their inks to over 30 tests to ensure monochrome is waterproof and the colour spectrum is as wide as possible. This process results in Lexmark inks which are quick drying and prints that will not fade when exposed to UV light.
Lexmark builds the print heads directly into their cartridges by overlaying the silicon chip with a polymer nozzle plate. Over a thousand microscopic nozzles are precision drilled to just one-seventh the diameter of a human hair. These help to control droplet size and ink trajectory to deliver outstanding print quality, even on standard copier paper. You can also print on to a range of media including photo paper and iron-on transfers.
The Lexmark X63 Multifunction Printer delivers prints at 2,400 x 1,200 dpi resolution with a top speed of 14ppm. This is a solid all-in-one solution for personal and home office use.
