Q. does hp smart tank cartridges have an expiration date? will they give an error message? thanks
A. The HP Smart Tank range uses ink refill bottles rather than standard cartridges so the machine will alert you once one of the colours is running low, and you will refill the ink tank with the correct ink bottle. The ink does have an expiration date, but if kept in the correct conditions they should last up to 2 years.
