When you're purchasing supplies for the HP Envy 110 e All-in-One Printer you'll need to choose between genuine inks that have been manufactured and approved by HP and third-party alternatives. Sometimes, the third-party cartridges can be a tempting option, particularly if the initial price of purchase is lower than for the genuine inks. However, this is just one of many factors that should come into your decision.
As well as the upfront cost of the ink, you'll want to consider the environmental record of the company that has manufactured it. You'll also want to consider the quality of print that it will be able to produce and the number of pages that it will be able to print before you have to replace it. Finally, you should make sure that there's no risk that the ink could cause damage to your printer. This is important as this sort of issue is rarely covered by warranties or other service agreements.
Not all inks are the same and some third-party cartridges will really struggle to produce acceptable printouts when used at cost-effective and energy-efficient settings, which are ideal for drafts, memos and in-house documents. That generally means that you'll have to select a slower and more ink-intensive option in order to produce reasonable quality documents. This can push up the cost per page printed with a third-party cartridge until it's higher than that of genuine HP inks.
What's more, when you choose HP branded ink for your device, you'll benefit from the industry-leading knowledge which has gone into developing HP's Vivera ink, which ensures long-lasting, true-to-life colour and sharp, detailed blacks. You'll also have the option to choose between standard black (200 pages) and tricolour (165 pages) cartridges, as well as save on your overheads with XL black (600 pages), colour (440 pages) and standard combi packs. Plus, you get the peace of mind of knowing your cartridges can be recycled through HP to ensure no waste goes to landfill.
