The Epson DFX8500 Dot Matrix Printer is Epson's top model printer and is ideal for high volume businesses. With a print speed of up to 1120 characters per second, and the ability to print through seven carbon copies, the DFX8500 is suitable for many industries, and can even offer permanent operation. Features

Taking up to A3 size paper, there are numerous paper options available to users whether that be cut sheets or continuous feed. The DFX8500 also offers the option of a paper cutter. The Epson DFX8500 Dot Matrix Printer is a highly reliable, long life printer. The print head life is around 400 million characters, but to ensure the life of your printer and consumables, use only genuine Epson cartridges and ribbons.

Consumables

Like other Dot Matrix Printers, the DFX8500 operates using a ribbon cartridge, which prints up to 15 million characters. High volume users may prefer to change the ribbon rather than the cartridge itself, in order to save on printing costs. Full instructions for how to do this are included in the DFX 8500's instruction manual.
