With deadlines pending, there’s no time to lose which is why the Xerox AltaLink B8170 Multifunction Printer has been designed to be the ultimate digital assistant and comes with a wide range of practical accessories.

Hardworking, reliable and unafraid of long hours, this printer has everything you need to get the job done to the highest standard and knows how to meet deadlines with ease.

Paper input accessories

Xerox AltaLink B8170 Multifunction Printer accessories include various paper input options. There are two 520-sheet adjustable trays, common with all configurations. Tray 1 handles media sizes up to 11.7 x 17 in/A3 and Tray 2 handles media sizes up to 12 x 18 in/SRA3. There’s also an optional Envelope Kit which replaces Tray 1 and provides feeding of up to 60 envelopes.

Other paper input accessories include a High Capacity Tandem Tray Configuration which holds a total paper capacity of up to 3,140 sheets. The Bypass Tray handles up to 100 sheets in custom sizes: 3.5 x 3.9 to 12.6 x 52 in or 89 x 98 mm to 320 x 1,320 mm. The optional High Capacity Feeder also holds 3,000 sheets of letters/A4 paper, increasing the maximum paper capacity to 6,140 sheets.

Paper output/finishers

With the Xerox AltaLink B8170 Multifunction Printer, you can also select a variety of paper output options. The Office Finisher, for instance, provides advanced finishing functions including optional crease/score. Or you can create a saddle-stitch booklet of up to 60 pages. Other finishers include the C-Fold Z-Fold unit as well as the BR Booklet Maker Finisher.

A Single Offset Catch Tray is available with any finisher and a Dual Offset Catch Tray is available when no finishers are installed. There’s also an optional Convenience Stapler which staples up to 50 sheets (20lbs).
