Lexmark quality at high speed
Lexmark released the MX320 and MX420 series concurrently and the MX421 is the senior of the two ranges in terms of pace and throughput capacity. Offering a first page of 1200x1200 dpi resolution output in 6.25 seconds, and subsequent prints at speeds of up to 40ppm, the MX421 offers a duty cycle of 100,000 pages per month. Despite this seniority, however, your business demands will inevitably develop over time and so it is imperative that your machine can adapt accordingly.
Increasing capacity
The Lexmark MX421 comes with a built-in input capacity of 250 pages, but if your business expands you won’t want to be forever revisiting your machine to replenish its paper supply. Additional options include a 250 sheet tray, a 550 sheet tray and a lockable 550 sheet tray, meaning your overall capacity can increase to as high as 900 pages.
If you choose to increase the input capacity of your printer, you may also decide that it needs to expand into its own space. An adjustable stand will allow the MX421 to become a piece of office furniture in its own right, with castors allowing its placement with ease.
Additional Lexmark accessories
The MX421 is already an impressive machine, but if you wish to enhance its powers internally there are plenty of easily installed options, including a wireless server, memory upgrade options, cards for IPDS, PRESCRIBE emulation and Forms and Bar Code.
