  • Michael Lewin-Harris 04 March 2018 4.5 / 5 Value 4 Features 5 Quality 5 Performance 4 A good printer

I bought from Printerland in Dec 2011. It broke down in 2012 a month before the warranty ran out, and a replacement (brand new) was provided. As a precaution I took out a 2-year warranty, and had a minor callout sometime under that, but since then it has worked perfectly until 9 months ago it stopped printing 2-sided. It is still going well apart from that, and I will continue to use it with a work around when newcessary. It has been more economical to run than its predecessor of. another make.

  • Rob Skinner 13 December 2017 5 / 5 Value 5 Features 5 Quality 5 Performance 5 Excellent solid ink printer

An excellent printer that has high quality, fast print time, easily understood print commands. Prints up to 250gsm.card with no trouble. Great value for money.

  • Peter Kinsman 06 August 2016 4.25 / 5 Value 4 Features 4 Quality 5 Performance 4 Review of Xerox Colorcube 8570

The print quality of this printer is fabulous and unsurpassed by any other machine under £500. I use it to produce technical reports containing photographs and diagrams and the finished document looks as if it was produced by a high quality print shop. If you print documents where appearance is important, then this is the printer for you. Having said that, a high price has to be paid for the quality. A set of solid inks costs in excess of £400 (more than the printer itself) and they do not last very long. The waxy ink sits on the surface of the paper and is easily scratched off and it tends to crack if the paper is folded. The registration when printing two sided is not perfect and varies by a couple of millimetres. This is not normally a problem, but can be if you are producing small books. All in all these disadvantages are worth overlooking if you want high quality printing.

  • Sarah E 20 October 2015 2.25 / 5 Value 2 Features 4 Quality 1 Performance 2 Never again

Print head had to be replaced just out of warranty. Xerox wanted £400 but Printerland persuaded them not to charge because of light use. Then power pack went - it was replaced FOC but such a nuisance. Now several jets not functioning so light streaks form on prints. - yes, can do jet substitution but not if several adjacent jets are affected - they are. Will certainly buy from Printerland again, but NOT Xerox

  • Ryan Colebrook 05 June 2014 1 / 5 Value 1 Features 1 Quality 1 Performance 1 Avoid at all costs

This is the second of these printers we've had now, the first printer wouldn't turn on after about 13 months and guess what the second one has done exactly the same. Reported the fault and was told Xerox would call back as it happened before end of warranty, still waiting. It was a fault once a week and now it's permanent. I now have two of these machines which are both dead after 13 months each, A LITTLE BIT ANNOYED!!!!

Printerland Response: Any customers with a Xerox 8570 or 8870 printer who have experienced a complete power failure can contact Xerox Technical support on 0870 900 5501 where they will send an engineer to perform a free of charge repair to your machine. This will be actioned whether the machine is in or out of warranty.

  • Savi 24 April 2014 2.5 / 5 Value 1 Features 4 Quality 4 Performance 1 Poor service

Bought this machine just over a year ago, moved into a different office and wouldnt power on! called printerland who said to get touch with Xerox, called Xerox who said you only have a One Year warranty and it would cost £400 plus as the power supply needs replacing, please check the warranty terms as these machines are very prone to these faults, a bit let down by the whole experience & prices they charge for these parts, will never buy a Xerox again.

  • John C 25 March 2014 3 / 5 Value 2 Features 3 Quality 4 Performance 3 Time waster!

Be warned, to start this machine from cold takes up to 22 minutes (during which it wastes a good deal of ink on a test page). From standby mode approximately 2-3 minutes. BUT, if your power supply cuts out even for a few seconds, you are back to square ONE – literally. A pity, since the colour quality is good, if a little on the pale side when compared to the Phaser 6250 (now discontinued).

Xerox PagePack
A cost-per-page you can count on.

In today's economy, everyone is looking for ways to cut costs.
For most companies the ongoing cost of office printing – cost-per-print, routine maintenance and service – is an unexplored opportunity for significant, cumulative savings. PagePack will improve productivity and your company's printing costs.

How does PagePack improve your print environment?

A fixed cost-per-page. In an unmanaged environment, every document printed uses a variable amount of ink or toner. You pay a different price for every print and the costs are unknown. Service calls are unpredictable and so are the charges. With PagePack all your variable expenses are consolidated. You pay a fixed cost-per-page that reduces overall expenditures.

Increase productivity. PagePack also saves on hidden costs, such as staff resources and prevents shortages of consumables,by simplifying ordering and vendor management. With PagePack there's no need to keep an inventory of consumables on hand. You can order them online 24/7.

Free Remote Services. With PagePack Remote Services Platform you get real-time visibility of your Xerox networked devices; Meter Assistant® automates the process of collecting and submitting meter reads for accurate billing, so you pay for what you actually use.

Low Cost Colour - Hybrid Colour Plan

Now with Hybrid Printing plans you can print all the brilliant colour you need whilst keeping in full control of your costs.

If you print a lot of colour, then the Xerox Hybrid Colour Billing plan could be for you, significantly reducing your print costs by up to 50%. This billing plan is based on the actual amount of colour used - when you use less colour, you pay less, rather than the one price for a colour page that most people are used to.

We use our technology to deliver these savings to you. Solid ink printers create images by printing tiny pixel dots of black and colour ink on the page. The devices automatically count the number of colour pixels used to produce each printed page, and tally individual pages on three separate meters - Useful (spot colour), Everyday (medium colour coverage) and Expressive (heavy colour pages). So you only pay for the actual amount of colour you print.
