Each Lexmark printer integrates with a precision engineered ink cartridge set to unlock full print functionality. Lexmark inks are engineered in-house and undergo rigorous testing for safety, print quality and reliability. Over 30 different tests are used to determine that each new ink is quick drying, adheres strongly and will not fade. When a cartridge is spent, it can be returned to Lexmark for re-use or recycling through the Lexmark Cartridge Collect programme.
Integral to Lexmark's print quality are the precision engineered print heads, composed of a wafer-thin chip covered by a polymer nozzle plate.
