Extend the functionality of your FS-C5200DN printer by fitting it with a range of genuine Kyocera accessories, including increased memory and paper handling features to improve speed and efficiency.
High capacity paper handling
When your printer can print at speeds of 26ppm and up to 12,000 pages from a single cartridge, it's important that you have adequate paper feeding capabilities to keep up. The FS-C5200DN comes with a 500 sheet tray as standard, but at full print speed, this tray will be depleted in just 19 mins.
To solve this problem, up to three optional 500 sheet trays can be fitted giving a total capacity of 2,000 sheets, plus the 150 sheet multi-purpose tray. This will provide up to an hour of continuous printing without the need to change paper or cartridges. Not many printers in this category can achieve that kind of volume and performance.
An optional 500 sheet heavyweight paper tray is also available for offices that print sales brochures on paperweights up to 28lb.
Increase memory for further performance gains
If your office prints large documents which contain multiple pages and high definition images, you are going to need to increase the onboard memory of your printer. With most printers, this is not possible, but Kyocera provide a number of memory expansion options.
The optional 40gb onboard hard drive makes managing large documents a breeze. Now your printer can store large multipage brochures and images without having to refresh memory. This can save valuable minutes when printing large documents and reduces the risk of the print job stopping halfway through the job.
Onboard RAM can also be increased up to a maximum of 1GB to provide printing of large format images and brochures. During the printing process, your printer sends individual pages from onboard memory to RAM. This limits the size of the individual pages you can print to the maximum amount of RAM installed. While the standard 256mb is more than enough for standard text documents, it is often not enough if you’re printing full-colour brochures.
