Excellent product delivered on time
The printer was a dream to set up and the first print results look great. Looking forward to the savings from using an ink tank system. The printer was smaller than I expected so that's a bonus. The only feature that would hve helped would hve been dual side copy.

Easy to set up
The printer is easy to set up with the Epson smart panel app giving step-by-step instructions. Filling the ink is straightforward with no mess. I was able to connect all of my devices on the WiFi network. Easy to print from phone tablet and pc.

GX4050 Ink Tank
As I work from home my printer cartridge costs were rising so after researching printers online I decided to go the Ink Tank route. This GX4050 was getting top reviews. Print Scan Copy functions are good but not used the Fax as that is something I do not use. So far so good but early days. Although the initial purchase cost is high I am hoping that ink usage savings will still keep me 'pounds saved' after 1 year based on my usage. This means I will recoup the initial outlay cost quite quickly. I have read that to stop any possible ink 'dry-up' you should print one sheet in all colours once a month to maintain ink fluidity. I have rated this 5 stars based on my short-term ownership but I am not expecting problems. I extended the on-offer free warranty extension to 3 years via Canon Website so not too worried if it plays up long-term.

Early days but ... very pleased so far
It is a long time since I purchased a printer. My old Epson is headed for the tip. I have had it since December 2010 but the cartridges are expensive and I found myself cleaning the print heads a little too often. This new Epson model has replaced the old one and a ten-year-old HP laser printer. I'm looking forward to the lower costs of bottled ink compared to laser cartridges and the ink cartridges for the old Epson. So far the ET-4856 is working like a dream. I downloaded the Epson Smart Panel app and this made setting up the printer simple. Print quality has met all my expectations. Yes there is a bit of noise when printing but it doesn't bother me. I have tested the scanner and this works fine. I wish I had replaced my old printers a little sooner instead of waiting until I had used all the ink in the old machines. Also great service from Printerland.

Good value for money
Its a lovely printer and it is good value for money. It prints really well and system of ecotank is awesome and very easy to fill the cartridge. I will recommend to everyone to have it at home where frequent printing is required. Absolutely wonderful for all age students too. I am really happy with my EPSON ET-2851 printer with extended warranty. Printerland service is also awesome for delivery customer service and after sales review.

Choosing a new home printer especially one that costs as much as this does was a bit of a daunting task but Printerland could nt have been more helpful. They took the time to listen to what I needed and their recommendations were backed up by valid reasoning. For example this was more than I was originally intending to pay but it was explained that the amount of ink included would last me a long time something they could advise on because they took the time to understand what I would be using it for. They also explained that it came with a very long warranty and so it wasn t something that I would need to worry about replacing in the next few years. Compared to the cheaper printers it made far more sense and I have no doubt it will save me money in the long run.

Save Money
We decided to buy this Epson printer because of the cost of inks which are so cheap in comparison to the inkjet printer we have been using. We will save so much money thanks to this new printer and the printer itself is better than our old printer so there are no negatives to this purchase
