A powerful laser printer

The Samsung ML 1640 mono laser printer is powered by a 150 MHz processor and boasts 8 MB of memory and an effective output of 1200 x 600dpi, resulting in an A4-printing potential of 16 pages per minute, with the first page emerging after about 10 seconds.

High page yields

This Samsung black replacement toner cartridge will provide the printer with approximately another 1500 pages of printing, which can be extended by using the toner save mode. This embedded feature allows you to save up to 40% of toner, which is ideal when printing in-house or draft documents. Use of this useful toner saving feature will result in less frequent changes of cartridge meaning a financial saving as well as helping to protect the environment.

Print options

The printer also incorporates various print options enabling 2-up, 4-up or potentially 16-up printing on one page, with obvious paper saving results to cut down on waste.

Cartridge replacement

Replacing the Samsung toner cartridge on this laser printer is a straightforward process. The LED toner light, as well the Smart Panel on the printer, will have already highlighted the need for a new one, so genuine Samsung consumables such as this toner cartridge with a 1500-page yield will be needed.

To remove the existing cartridge, open the front cover of the printer and remove the existing cartridge by its handle. The new cartridge can then be carefully inserted and clicked securely into place, once it has been removed from its protective packaging.

Remember to never replace a Samsung toner cartridge with third-party copies as these can be detrimental to your printer imaging kit in terms of low print quality and reduced life expectancy.
