Great printer, so far so good ...

We bought this after looking online at a number of reviews. Having had a number of disappointing multifunction printers previously we decided to spend a bit more and so far are very happy with it. It's solidly built, much quieter than our previous one, the paper is out of the way, easy to use touch screen, overall it was very easy to set up and link to wifi for wireless printing. We're hoping that the ink costs will be cheaper too. Ordered from Printerland mid afternoon on Wednesday and it was delivered by 9am the following morning. The price was the same as elsewhere online and caashback offer was a bonus.

    Could be better

Do not buy this printer if you print envelopes, you cannot feed single envelopes into the machine, you have to take out the paper drawer and replace the paper with the envelopes, once you have done this the envelopes are printed on a slant and there is usually ink in the top left hand corner of the envelope.

    Excellent printer

The printer arrived the next day, as promised. Very easy to install; everything worked well. The duplex, two sided printing, is great and saves loads of paper. Had an 8600 previously and the ink that came with it lasted a good long time. Recommended.

    Product satisfaction

After a complete let down by Canon by that I mean backup quality as it would appear not only myself but also from forum comments . So refreshing to own a product which operates as good as it looks .

    HP Office Jet Pro 8620

I went through all of the Which report reports on the best ink jet printers and all seemed to have niggly problems that eliminated them from my research . The only printer that stood head and shoulders above them all was the 8620 and so far i am really impressed with it as it ticks all of the boxes for a really great and economical printer. The Printerland service and support was exemplary as they even asked me if I would be willing to take a printer at a slight discount where the box had been opened but the contents were as new . A truly great all round purchasing experience.
