When used with genuine Canon consumables, the PIXMA MX495 can produce 4800 x 1200 dpi resolution images at a healthy speed of 70 seconds for a standard 10 x 15cm borderless print. It is equally effective with its copying, offering prints at 4.4 ipm for colour and 8.8 ipm for mono output.

With its multiple connectivity options and a document feeder capable of auto-feeding 20 pages, this neat printer really does offer the standards required of a home printer at an affordable price, so it makes perfect sense to maintain its integrity and lifespan by using genuine ink when the time comes to replace it.

Using Canon consumables

There are retailers that will suggest that there are alternatives to genuine Canon ink cartridges that are compatible with your machine.
