Canon imagePROGRAF IPF685 in More Detail
Designed for CAD, EDA and GIS, the ImagePROGRAF IPF685 can deliver impressive maps and line drawings while running at a lower cost when compared to its predecessors. Whether you're producing plans or visualisations, this printer can handle the huge file sizes you work with while maintaining accurate colours and fine lines.
Canon have developed their ImagePROGRAF printers to meet the demands of designers. The speed of the IPF685 is a key feature, at just 25 seconds per A1 draft, the IPF685 is well equipped to keep up with demand. The Hot Swap ink tanks ensure that production does not come to a halt when you swap cartridges thanks to a secondary independent ink well.
The 5-colour dye-and-pigment reactive ink system was specifically designed by Canon for the GAD/GIS market. The addition of a new magenta ink expands the colour gamut and produces clearer reds. Improved ink adhesion you get from reactive inks prevents bleeding, which can be an issue with detailed plans, meaning you get cleaner, sharper prints. The reactive inks are also far more resistant to scratching or marking which can be a major problem on site.
In addition to a larger colour gamut, the dual black cartridges (black and matte black) allow you greater detail and smoother graduations no matter which media you wish to use.
