Xerox 6360 series Printerland service was excellent. Very helpful... listened and found a solution for us. We've now had 3 Xerox 6360s, starting with a DX and just replace the basic printer unit each time. We use them to print big (500 page)training manuals so we work them hard. They are fast and reliable ...if you don't use compatible toner in them - we think it was compatibles that killed our first one. Main issue is that they require a maintenance kit after about 300K to 350K pages... the printer just stops even though this is probably just software controlled! Xerox: grrrr! That currently is difficult to get hold of & costs 2/3 of the price of a new printer and appears to need to be fitted by a printer engineer not a 'user'. Sadly it makes more sense to buy a fresh one every 350K. So it is expensive, but we've worked on 'better the devil you know' as predictability helps.

This billing plan is based on the actual amount of colour used - when you use less colour, you pay less, rather than the one price for a colour page that most people are used to.

We use our technology to deliver these savings to you. Solid ink printers create images by printing tiny pixel dots of black and colour ink on the page. The devices automatically count the number of colour pixels used to produce each printed page, and tally individual pages on three separate meters - Useful (spot colour), Everyday (medium colour coverage) and Expressive (heavy colour pages).
