Receiving excellent or very good ratings in nearly every category evaluated, the Samsung ML-3710ND gave a very strong performance in BLI's lab evaluation. The 35-ppm unit completed a 40,000 impression durability test with no misfeeds and produced very good print quality. The A4 ML-3710ND demonstrated above-average overall productivity and was easy to set up, use and manage on the network. While standard and maximum capacities are competitive, the drawers and bypass support heavier media (163gsm and 220gsm, respectively) than many competitive units. Environmentally friendly features include standard automatic duplexing, which contributes  to less paper waste, while a power save mode and and Eco mode in the driver can reduce energy consumption. Also noteworthy is an Eco button on the control panel that overrides the driver settings and forces output to be duplexed. BLI highly recommends the ML-3710ND for small workgroup environments with  monthly print volumes of up to 1,500 impressions.
