Cheshire reseller Printerland has awarded directorships to
two staff as a result of their hard work and achievement through the recession.
Roger Turner, former sales manager and a staff member for 10
years, has been promoted to the position of sales and marketing director.
Turner is being joined on the Printerland board by Karen
Pearson, who has been with the company for 15 years. Accounts manager Pearson
has taken on the role of financial director.
“When I started working for Printerland, we were turning over
£120,000 and now our turnover has soared to £20m. I am over the moon that my
hard work has been recognised and my dedication has paid off,” Pearson said.
Printerland managing director Graham Vickers said that a
Printerland employee had never before been promoted to director level.
“Turner and Pearson have earned their titles,” Vickers said.
“This will give them a deserved credibility when dealing with considerably large
accounts. I have been very fortunate that our talent has allowed me to promote
from within rather than look outside.”
