1. Scope of Promotion
By means of this Promotion, Lexmark International Limited of Westhorpe House, Westhorpe,
Marlow SL7 3RQ - (“Lexmark”), promotes the purchase of Lexmark products as qualified in
section 2 of these Terms and Conditions (“Product(s)”) to commercial end-users (“the Customer”)
in the territory of the United Kingdom within a specific period of time as set out in section 3 of
these Terms and Conditions for its internal use only. Resellers, in particular wholesalers and
retailers, and private end-user (“Consumers”) are excluded from this Promotion.
The customer is entitled, once the Customer has registered the Product as set out in section 4 of
these Terms and Conditions, to special benefits that complement the standard terms & conditions
of the Lexmark Limited Commercial Guarantee as follows:
Free 3 Year Warranty (“Free 3 year Guarantee”): The Lexmark Limited Commercial Guarantee
will be expanded from its standard duration to 3 (three) years from the date of purchase of
Product. This 3 Year Guarantee will be only available in the country where the Product was
purchased and is only available to the specific Product which was registered. For detail please

2. Qualification of Products
The following Products, which the Customer buys from a Reseller in the territory of the United
Kingdom within the period of time as set out in section 3 of these Terms and Conditions, are
qualified for this Promotion:

The Customer will only be awarded as mentioned above for a purchase of Products subject to
limitation amounting up to 10 (ten) Products in maximum.
3. Period of time
This Promotion applies to the Products qualified above that are purchased and invoiced by a
Reseller with its place of business in the territory of the United Kingdom – from October 1st 2008
to December 31st 2008.
4. Registration Process for the Free 3 Year Guarantee
To claim the Free 3 Year Guarantee, the Customer shall register online at the Lexmark public
website www.lexmark.co.uk/warrantypromo, and send the proof of purchase of Product(s) in form
of the related Reseller’s invoice by scanning the invoice and attaching it to the Registration form.
The registration shall be completed and submitted for this Promotion until January 7th, 2009 at
latest (exclusion period). Registration forms which are improperly completed, incomplete or
delayed in receipt will not be accepted by Lexmark.
If the Customer’s registration for this Promotion is approved by Lexmark, the Customer will
receive a confirmation email by Lexmark stating that the Free 3Year Guarantee has been
registered for the respective Product and the Customer will receive the Free 3 Year Guarantee
Certificate with regards to the registered Product in due course. The 3-Year Guarantee will be
activated starting from the date of purchase of the Product.
5. Miscellaneous
This Promotion cannot be combined with any other special prices or promotions by Lexmark
available within the period of time as set out in section 3 of these Terms and conditions.
The Customer consents to the storage and processing of any data received by Lexmark in the
course of its relationship with the Customer, to the extent necessary for the performance of this

Privacy Statement at www.lexmark.co.uk.
Lexmark reserves the right to terminate or enhance the Promotion or modify any provisions of
these Terms and Conditions without prior notification, if deemed necessary in their opinion, at any
time effective as of the date of the announcement if there are reasonable grounds and/or if
circumstances arise outside of Lexmark’s control. The termination or enhancement of this
Promotion as well as any modification to these Terms and Conditions will be advertised in the
same manner with which this Promotion has been advertised, or in a similar way.
The Customer shall neither assign nor pledge or otherwise transfer any rights or obligations
arising from the participation of the Promotion, except with the prior written consent of Lexmark.
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the United Kingdom, with the
exception of the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.
Any disputes arising between the parties shall be heard and resolved exclusively by the
competent commercial courts in the United Kingdom.
